The Robbie Williams Many Tattoo Designs
Robert Peter Williams also known as Robbie Williams is a Grammy award-winning, singer-songwriter who has over 25 million records sold during his solo career. Robbie Williams has sold more records in the United Kingdom than any other British civil artist in history including the Beatles. That is when you are counting the Beatles as solo artists. Robbie Williams is also known outside his music as the illustrated Man. The illustrated man means that Robbie Williams has his body covered almost entirely with tattoos. Not every inch of the skin is covered but the majority of his appendages, back, torso, and legs have a least one or two tattoos on them. Robbie William tattoos are unique and each one has a story behind it. He is truly a person that gets a tattoo for a reason and not just to show off a piece of body art.
Today Robbie Williams has at least 18 tattoos. One of the most striking tattoos that William sports is the Mori design on his left arm. The tribal symbol makes his left arm look bigger, it gives it a more masculine look. He has a Celtic cross on his right hip that symbolizes the Celtic tradition and the religious backing behind it. The funniest tattoo on his body is a tattoo of a lion. This fearsome creature is put to rest with the words ‘born to be mild’ written underneath it. An oxymoronic jess that symbolizes that he looks like a beast but is a pretty mellow person. Being a true British musician, Robbie Williams has musical notes tattooed across the small of his back and Beatles lyrics underneath them. He also has a tattoo of a saint holding a cross with his grandfather's name underneath it.
To be more cryptic, Robbie Williams has a tattoo of the number 1023. It is rumored that this is a tattoo that honors his best friend Jonathan Wilkes. J and W are the 10th and 23rd letters of the alphabet. It is also rumored that his friend Jonathan Wells has the number 1823 on his arm and the numbers stand for the letters R W. R and W would be Robbie Williams. These numbered tattoos have been a topic of controversy for long time. Many people have made guesses to what the tattoos mean, but that remains a secret on to Robbie.
If you want to go to a tattoo parlor and look at a wall of tattoos and decide what tattoo to get for yourself, you can do the same thing by just looking at Robbie Williams’s body. He has such an array of tattoos that you could pick one and have it copied to your body. But there should be some reason to have that particular tattoo on your body, not just because Robbie the celebrity has the same. It is a good idea to look at the tattoos on his body and then come up with your own ideas of how you match it with another tattoo. Other tattoos you could look at getting along with a Celtic cross are angel tattoos.
